Founder and CEO of Phelang Bonolo Healthcare (PBH) Group, established in 2006, and a respected family practitioner in his community of Mabopane and Pretoria North at large. His vision of making high-quality healthcare accessible to all communities has driven the success of Botshilu Private Hospital in Soshanguve, the group’s flagship facility, which opened in 2014 and was developed by the Soshanguve community for the community.

PBH continues to expand its footprint by offering a range of services across different levels of care, including primary care, day care, sub-acute/rehabilitation, and mental wellness healthcare facilities. Driven by a desire to achieve universal health coverage, PBH aims to establish a national footprint with various new developments planned for the near future.

As the strategic leader of our hospital, he drives operational excellence and steers the hospital toward its long-term goals. With a focus on high-quality healthcare delivery, he ensures that all hospital functions – from clinical services to financial management – are aligned with the hospital’s vision and values. He cultivates relationships with key stakeholders, including medical professionals, patients, and regulatory bodies, while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and policies. She is responsible for overseeing the overall nursing management of the hospital, including coordinating all functions and activities related to providing, promoting, and ensuring quality patient care. The Finance and Admin Manager oversees all financial operations, ensuring the hospital’s financial health and sustainability. In addition to managing the financial department, he supervises the admin team responsible for patient administration. He is accountable for financial reporting, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory standards, and preparing reconciliations. Through trend analysis and cash flow forecasting, he advises executive management on key financial decisions and implements solutions to maintain operational efficiency.

She is responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing the marketing initiatives that drive the growth and visibility of Botshilu Private Hospital. Her role encompasses developing and executing strategic marketing plans, enhancing the hospital’s brand awareness, and ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders, including doctors, allied healthcare workers, patients, and the community. She ensures compliance with South African legislative frameworks and internal policies. She is the heartbeat of our pharmacy department, driving its success through leadership and excellence daily. She leads the team with precision, ensuring that prescriptions are accurately filled while maintaining optimal inventory and adhering to regulatory and safety standards. She focuses on exceptional service and efficient management of administrative tasks, such as budgeting and scheduling, and keeps the pharmacy running smoothly. By collaborating with healthcare providers and mentoring future pharmacists and technicians, she plays a key role in enhancing patient care and positively impacting the health of the community.

Oversees the hospital’s technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless and secure system operations. He manages electronic health records (EHR) systems, provides IT support to medical staff, and implements new technologies to enhance patient care. Additionally, he ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, safeguard patient data, and coordinates with vendors for hardware and software needs. His role is essential in maintaining efficient hospital operations and improving the quality of healthcare services.

Responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of the hospital’s facility, assets, and engineering services. His key areas include project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and governance of procurement and spend. Develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements (SLAs) while managing budgets, mitigating operational risks, and driving innovation to enhance service efficiency. Also oversees contract management, ensuring all engineering service agreements comply with hospital policies.

He manages daily regulatory, commercial, and compliance matters. Provides legal advice and guidance to ensure the company’s activities comply with applicable legislation and regulations, including the National Health Act, the Companies Act, the Medicines and Related Substances Act, and other relevant laws and codes of conduct.
