Cost and medical aid
Major medical aid schemes accepted. Chronic medication is usually covered in full on your chronic benefit, we’ll check before you pay. Cash prices are quoted upfront, always.

Do I have to be a hospital patient to use the pharmacy?
No. Anyone can walk in with a prescription, or with a question.
Can I move my chronic medication here?
Yes. Bring your current script or your medical aid details and we’ll arrange the transfer, so you collect where you already come.
Can the pharmacist help me without seeing a doctor first?
For many minor complaints, yes, a pharmacist can advise and supply certain medicines. For anything that needs a diagnosis, we’ll tell you straight and point you to the right department.
What if my medicine is out of stock?
We’ll tell you when it’s expected, or discuss a generic alternative with the same active ingredient at a lower price.
Is a generic as good as the original?
Yes. Generics contain the same active ingredient and are held to the same regulatory standards. They’re usually significantly cheaper.
I can’t afford my full script. What are my options?
Say so. We can look at generics, discuss what’s essential now versus what can wait, and check what your benefit actually covers. Don’t just leave it, half a treatment often doesn’t work.
