Dr. Winniefred Goitsimang Mantshiu is a dedicated Specialist Neurologist with a profound commitment to addressing neurological disorders. She earned her MBChB degree in 2005 from the University of Limpopo (previously Medunsa) and completed her internship and community service at a leading hospital in Gauteng.

Driven by a growing passion for neurology and recognising the significant burden of neurological diseases in South Africa, Dr. Mantshiu pursued specialised training in neurology. She attained her Fellowship with the College of Neurologists of South Africa and a Master’s degree in Neurology from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU).

Dr. Mantshiu has a keen interest in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions, including headaches, epilepsy, strokes, neuropathic pain, and neuropathies. Her expertise and compassionate care make her a valuable contributor to improving patients’ quality of life.
