Dr Joseph Motshedi Sekgololo is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, with a special interest in minimal invasive cardiothoracic surgery. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Limpopo-Medunsa campus and his masters degree in cardiothoracic surgery at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University.
In 2017 he received a scholarship for the best researcher, which allowed him to go for International Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (Uniportal VATS) training program, at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital in China.
He has the best interest in scientific writing. He has published several articles as a lead or first author, which included case reports and original articles. He is currently a PhD fellow in cardiothoracic surgery.
